NELC | Innovative Teaching Methods

What is active learning? It is a hands on interactive educational approach ideally suited for topic mastery. As topic mastery increases, pride in being successful increases, renewed excitement transpires with increased learning that enhances the development of sequential and problem solving skills critical to the field of nursing.  NELC provides active learning opportunities through out the course of study.

I have co-founded or been affiliated with specialized, secondary schools within California, U.S.A. for over thirty years.  My master’s degree is in Educational Psychology and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. For the last ten years, I have been the co-founder of the learning lab for non-traditional learners at Nawa Academy in French Gulch, California. I have reviewed countless studies and with my education and experience, have found active learning to be unequivocally the most dynamic and impactful educational teaching intervention.

I highly recommend Nurses’ E-Learning Center as your way to pass the NCLEX.  Nursing within the United States is highly competitive!  If followed as directed, the NELC program can provide the needed edge to not only pass the NCLEX but enhance skills to be a serious contender within the United States nursing market.

Good luck to you in your pursuits.

Celia K. Hull, M.A. Ph.D., EMT
Dean of Students
Nawa Academy
